A Celebration?

     I remember when i took an oath in my 10th standard. It was before a Diwali like this. It may be in the year 2000. It was i will not lit crackers till the abolition of  child labour. My school is an Christian Institution. Nearly a decade passed, i keep up my oath but i haven't take any step to abolish child labour. Instead i do a thing, I'm insisting the importance of education to the present generation. Taking oath can be a good sign. But it has to be carried out in a right way which should have a permanent solution. Just decades are passing like clouds. Nothing been changed. Is it possible to bring a change? 

Everybody says that poverty is the initial reason for all the disastrous. And for how long we gonna have this as a reason? Apart from this is there any way to stop the child labour?

A brother is a friend God gave you; a friend is a brother your heart chose for you

There was a person who inspires all.
The person will not get tired like the spider, which is meant for hard work.
The person will spread happiness, like light in a dark.
One who gives the happiness are close to God.
Can i compare the person to that level?
It cannot be, but still...
How a person can be humble and courteous unintentionally?
It is possible for this person...
I learned a thirst for living,
I learned a thirst for reading,
The quality I perceived,
Elevates me.
The person is a good friend of mine,
Later transited to the state of one who protects and one who often fights.
The person will have the rights of Father,
Who is a BROTHER
A brother is a friend God gave you; a friend is a brother your heart chose for you.
I would like to thank you for being all the above mentioned.
This could be the right day.

    Imagine a man who often seem to be stinky and wore a shirt for a week without washing, the irony was in his profession. He was a Doctor. He was the person who had been equally loved and hatred by the world during 1950s. He  had been labeled as Doctor, Author, Revolutionist. He lead his life with all doubt that, whether he should portray him as an Argentinian, or belong to Cuba? Some people believes that light is the fastest passing substance and some people the human mind. But here this man's revolutionary ideas spreads faster than the former and occupies a place in the later. His revolutionary ideas, in a simpler form, is that to treat human as a human. "Revolution is not an Apple that falls when it ripe. You have to make it fall." The exact golden moment of his life was not when he traveled by motor cycle, but when he joined Castro. Later in 1959 when Cuba was ruled by Castro he was placed as an important person in the governing body. He started to write books and inorder to spread his ideas of socialism in countries like Bolivia he shed all his posts in 1965.

     No one will accept when a third person rule his home though he is powerful and intelligent. He too faced the "so called cold blooded murder" like other popular persons who sacrifice their life for others sake. He was crucially murdered by the Bolivian Army. A bullet might have passed on through his body what was there in crucial? His were cut off  and preserved in formaldehyde for a proof. This is not a comparison but he died in his 30s like Jesus Christ. JUNE 14 1928- OCTOBER 09 1967. These were. the last bold words by him " I know you are here to kill me. Shoot, coward, you are only going to kill a man". He still exist with us (as for as my concern) through his ideas.

மௌனத்திற்கும் முகங்கள் உண்டு.

பேச இயலாதோரின் மௌனத்தில் அர்த்தங்கள் புதைந்திருக்கிறது.

ஏனோ இயன்றோரின் மௌனம் இதயத்தை பிசைகிறது.

வார்த்தைகளால் சுடுவதைவிட மௌனம் தரும் 

காயத்திற்கு ஆழம் அதிகம்.

விரும்பி ஏற்போருக்கு 

மௌனம் ஒழித்து வைத்திருக்கும் ரகசியம்

I JUST WANTED TO SHARE THIS

Narendra Modi is back in the news. Coincidentally, just last week i was in Gujarat and became acutely aware of how much emotion one chief minister can generate. The youth wing of GCCI, an industry body of Gujarat, had invited me to a felicitation function in Ahmedabad. I have always felt the dynamism of Gujarat's the various industry bodies, which run some wonderful youth initiatives such as career fairs, business plan competitions, mentoring programmes and entrepreneurship guidance cells. It was a wonderful opportunity to visit Ahmedabad, a city that inspires me and to which i owe much.

The function was simple enough. A few speakers spoke about Gujarat's development. The economic numbers were fantastic. The development model seems to be working at the grassroots level too. While India's agriculture GDP growth has averaged 2.5% in the last 10 years (with the government targeting 4%), Gujarat's agriculture grew at a staggering 9.8%.

The entire programme focused on one agenda — development. Industrialists, politicians and IAS officials didn't talk about anything else. It was refreshing to see a part of India functioning well.

But there was someone at the function, whose presence was enough to change the colour of the event, at least in the eyes of those outside Gujarat. Chief minister Narendra Modi, who gave a passionate speech about Gujarat's growth, acknowledged that anyone who was seen with him would be vilified by certain sections of society. He warned that anyone who praises him would be criticized.

When my turn came to speak, i tried to remain neutral. I spoke about the glimpse of youth power in Anna Hazare's movement and how this power needed to be directed at positive goals, such as excellence, good values and entrepreneurship. If Gujarat was doing well, would its chief minister consider getting involved at the national level as we have 27 other states that could benefit from the Gujarat formula, i asked using the analogy that playing for an IPL team is different from playing for the national team. One could have asked as much of an any well-performing CM.

But within minutes, my Twitter page was filled with comments, in language too colourful to be published here. There was the hate-Modi brigade and the love-Modi brigade. However, both points of view are incorrect. Yes, i am acutely aware of the Godhra incidents. I wrote a book on it, and in the process, researched the issue for years. I also understand that the CM is implicated. The recent statements by senior IPS officer Sanjiv Bhatt on Modi's role are kicking up a storm.

But there is no judgment as yet. And it is very hard to pass judgment in such a situation, especially when it involves several incidents and provocation from both sides. Just like it was extremely hard to prove Congress' involvement in the 1984 Sikh riots. Even if the state were involved, the fact is a lot of the populace was complicit and that guilt will never go away by making a villain of one person. That doesn't, however, mean we don't investigate properly. We must push for justice, and have enough faith in the process to believe the right decision will be made. Even the CM has no choice but to accept that.

However, there is a lot more to Gujarat, the Gujarati people and their CM than Godhra. It is one of the few Indian cultures that celebrates entrepreneurship. That is the need of the hour for the entire nation. It is a state whose now proven development model, if replicated, can dramatically change the country's fortunes. To ignore that would be harmful for the nation. Many rights do not cover up a wrong. But should a wrong be constantly used to cover up many rights?

Let's face it, whether we are pro or anti-Modi, we all want the same thing. We want development and we don't want any more religious riots. As long as both sides of the debate understand that, we won't be as hostile to each other and, maybe arrive at something better than say, an extreme position. In fact, it isn't about a particular personality or CM; maybe seeing the good and the bad together will help us arrive at the kind of CM we actually want. For this, we must never stop listening to each other and accept that good and bad often co-exist. Often, the challenge is not about choosing between good or bad but extracting the maximum good, while keeping the bad at bay. Let's learn what is good from Gujarat, while continuing our quest for justice for the bad that happened.

ஊழலுக்கு எதிரான ஒரு போராட்டம்!

ஊழலை எதிர்த்து நாமெல்லாம் இதைப்போல எழுதி விட்டும் பேசி விட்டும்அடுத்த வேலையை பார்க்க கிளம்பிவிடுகிறோம் ஆனால் அன்னா ஹஸாரேஎன்ற 72 வயதானவர் (இவர் ஒரு சமூக ஆர்வலர் ஆவார் இதற்கு முன்பே பலபோராட்டங்களை ஊழலுக்கு எதிராக நடத்தி இருக்கிறார். மகாத்மா காந்தி மீதுபெரு மதிப்பு வைத்து இருப்பவர்) ஊழலுக்கு எதிராக சட்ட மசோதா கொண்டுவரக்கூறி சாகும் வரை உண்ணாவிரதப் போராட்டத்தை துவங்கி இருக்கிறார்இதற்கு கிரண் பேடி உட்பட பலர் ஆதரவு தெரிவித்து அவருடன் இணைந்துஉள்ளார்கள் இதற்கு மேலும் ஆதரவு கூடும் என்று நம்புகிறேன்.

         நான் கூட இது பற்றி NDTV.com ல் பார்த்த போது அவருடைய படத்தைமட்டும் பார்த்து விட்டு அதில் கூறியுள்ளதை படிக்காமல் சரி! எதோ ஒருதாத்தா பொழுது போகாம எதோ போராட்டம் செய்து கொண்டு இருக்கிறார்போல என்று நினைத்து விட்டேன் . 

      ஊழல் இந்தியாவை வேகமாக அழித்து வரும் ஒரு கொடிய நோயாக படுவேகமாக வளர்ந்து வருகிறது. அதுவும் சமீபமாக இதன் போக்கை பார்த்தால்பயங்கரமாக இருக்கிறது. தினமும் அந்த அரசியல்வாதி இவ்வளோ கோடிகொள்ளை அடித்தார் இவர் இவ்வளோ கையாடல் செய்தார் என்று வருவதைப்பார்த்தால் வருகிற ஆத்திரம் கொஞ்ச நஞ்சமல்ல. தற்போது ஆயிரத்தில்எல்லாம் ஊழல் செய்வது கீழ் நிலை ஊழியர் மட்டும் தான் தற்போதெல்லாம்லட்சம் கோடி (ஸ்பெக்ட்ரமை விடுங்க அது இல்லாமையே பல கோடிகொள்ளைகள் வந்து விட்டது.. ) கொள்ளைகள் சர்வ சாதாரணமாகி விட்டன.

                     இதை தேர்தல் கமிசன் போல தன்னிச்சையாக அரசின்கட்டுப்பாடில்லாமல் செயல்படும் ஒரு அமைப்பின் மூலம் தான் சரி செய்யமுடியும் என்று ஜன் லோக்பால் என்ற அமைப்பை செயல்படுத்தக்கூறிஉண்ணாவிரதத்தை ஆரம்பித்து இருக்கிறார். இதன் மூலம் இந்த அமைப்புஊழல் செய்த அனைவரையும் விசாரிக்க முடியும் எந்த விதகட்டுப்பாடுமில்லாமல். இதில் மாநில அரசோ அல்லது மற்றவர்களோ இதில்தலையிட முடியாது அதாவது யோவ்! அவன் நம்ம ஆளுயா! இந்த விஷயத்தைகண்டுக்காதே! என்று கூற முடியாது. சுருக்கமாக கூற வேண்டும் என்றால்தற்போது தமிழகத்தில் தேர்தல் கமிசன் அனைவரையும் சுளுக்கு எடுத்துவருவதைப்போல ஊழல் செய்யும் அனைவரையும் பெண்டு எடுக்க முடியும்.

மத்தியில் லோக்பால் என்ற அமைப்பும், ஒவ்வொரு மாநிலத்திலும் லோகாயுக்தா அமைப்பும் நிறுவப்படும்.

        உச்சநீதிமன்றம் மற்றும் தேர்தல் ஆணையம் போன்று இவ்வமைப்பும்சுதந்திரமான அமைப்பாகும். இதன் விசாரணையில் அரசாங்கமோ அல்லதுஅதிகாரிகளின் குறுக்கீடோ இருக்காது.

மற்ற வழக்குகள் போல் பல மாமாங்கங்களாக விசாரணை நடைபெறாமல், ஜன் லோக்பால் அமைப்பின் மூலம் எந்தவொரு வழக்கு விசாரணையும் ஒருவருடத்தில் முடிக்கப்பட்டு, அடுத்த ஓராண்டில் வழக்கும் முடிக்கப்பட்டு, இரண்டாண்டுகளுக்குள் தொடர்புடைய நபருக்கு தண்டனையும் அளிக்கப்பட்டுவிடும்.

         ஊழல் மூலம் ஈட்டப்பட்ட, அரசாங்கத்திற்கு நட்டமேற்படுத்தப்பட்டதொகை தண்டனைக்காலத்தில் மீட்கப்படும்.

பொது மக்களுக்கு எந்தவொரு அரசாங்க அலுவலகத்தில் குறிப்பிட்ட பணி முடித்துக் கொடுக்கப்படா விட்டாலோ அல்லது தாமதப்படுத்தப்பட்டாலோ, தொடர்புடைய அதிகாரிக்கு அபராதம் விதிக்கப்பட்டு, அவ்வபராதம் மனுதாரருக்கு நிவாரணமாக அளிக்கப்படும்.

           ஆக உங்களுடைய ரேஷன் கார்டு, வாக்காளர் அடையாள அட்டை, பாஸ்போர்ட் போன்றவை பெறுவதில் மெத்தனமோ, தாமதமோஏற்படுத்தப்பட்டாலோ, நீங்கள் இவ்வமைப்பை அணுகலாம். இதன் மூலம் ஒருமாதத்திற்குள் உங்களுக்கு அது கிடைப்பதோடு மட்டுமல்லாமல், நிவாரணமும்பெற்றுத் தரப்படும். தவிர தரமற்ற சாலைகள், பஞ்சாயத்து அளவில்நடைபெறும் ஊழல்கள், முறைகேடுகள் போன்றவற்றையும் நீங்கள்இவ்வமைப்பின் கவனத்திற்கு எடுத்துச் செல்லலாம். இரண்டாண்டுகளுக்குள்தொடர்புடைய குற்றவாளி தண்டனை பெறுவார்.

ஜன் லோக்பால் உறுப்பினர்களே ஊழல்வாதிகளாக இருப்பின், அவர்கள் மீதான புகார்கள் உடனுக்குடன் விசாரிக்கப்பட்டு, இரண்டு மாதங்களுக்குள் டிஸ்மிஸ் செய்யப்பட்டு, தண்டனை பெற்றுத் தரப்படுவர். 

      புகார் அளிப்பவர்கள் மற்றும் புகாரில் தொடர்புடையவர்களுக்கு முழு பாதுகாப்பு அளிக்கப்படும்.

           நினைத்துப்பாருங்க இது போல சட்டம் வந்து ஊழல் குறைந்தால்எவ்வளவு நன்றாக இருக்கும். நம்ம நாட்டில் ஊழல் மட்டும் இல்லை என்றால்ஒரு பய நம்மை எதுவும் செய்ய முடியாது.. பட்டாசாக நம் நாடு முன்னேறும்ஆனால் பாருங்க இவற்றை எல்லாம் இப்படி நடந்தால்! என்றுநினைத்துப்பார்த்து சந்தோசப்பட்டுக்கொள்ள வேண்டியை நிலையில் தான்நாம் இருக்கிறோம். எதுவும் நிஜமாக மாட்டேங்குது. நம்ம நாட்டில் இருக்கும்வளத்திற்கும் நம்மவர்கள் இடையே இருக்கும் திறமைக்கும் அமெரிக்காஎல்லாம் ஒன்றுமே இல்லைங்க. நம்மிடமும் ஊழல் இல்லாமையும்ஒழுக்கமும் இருந்தாலே போதும் அடி தூள் கிளப்பலாம் ஆனால் இவைஅனைத்தும் நம்மால் செய்யக்கூடிய செயல் என்றாலும் செய்யாமல்இருக்கிறோம்.

   நாம் எழுதி எல்லாம் ஒன்றும் நடக்கப்போவதில்லை இதை நன்றாக புரிந்துவைத்து இருக்கிறேன். நான் இதற்காக என்ன செய்தேன்.. ஒரு துரும்பு கூடஎன்னளவில் இதற்காக நான் செய்யவில்லை. எனக்கே வெட்கமாகஇருக்கிறது.. ஒரு வெங்காயமும் செய்யவில்லை! இதைப்போல எழுதுவதைதவிர. சும்மா இங்கே உட்கார்ந்துட்டு ஊழல், அராஜகம், இந்தியாஅழியப்போகிறது.. நாடு கெட்டு விட்டது.. பூமா தேவி வாய பொளக்கப்போறாஎல்லோரும் உள்ளே போகப்போறோம் ஐயோ அம்மா! என்று வசனம்பேசுவதில் என்ன அர்த்தம். இதைப்போல பேசுவதை பார்த்தால்இப்போதெல்லாம் எனக்கே காமெடியாக இருக்கிறது.

       இவை எல்லாம் கூட உங்களுக்கு இதை பகிர மட்டுமே நான் ஒன்றும்செய்யப்போவதில்லை.. வெளிநாட்டில் இருக்கிறேன் குறைந்த பட்சம்என்னால் செய்யக்கூடிய ஒட்டுரிமையைக் கூட என்னால் பயன்படுத்தமுடியாது. பின்ன இது பற்றி பேச என்ன அருகதை இருக்கிறது? ஒன்றுமேசெய்வதில்லை ஆனால் நாடு முன்னேறனுமாம்! இதை கேட்டால்உங்களுக்கே சிரிப்பு வரலை…

ஆனா நம்மைப்போல ஹசாரே நினைக்கவில்லை. அதற்கான முயற்சியைஎடுத்து இருக்கிறார் அவரளவில். இது வெற்றி பெறுமா அல்லது வழக்கம்போலபுஸ்ஸுன்னு போய் விடுமா என்பதெல்லாம் எனக்கு தெரியாது.. சரி! ஒருநல்ல விஷயம் செய்து இருக்கிறார் அவரை பாராட்டனும் என்று தோன்றியதுஎழுதினேன். கிரிக்கெட் சினிமா பற்றி எழுதறோம் இந்த தாத்தா பற்றிஎழுதினால் என்ன குறைந்தா போய் விடப்போகிறேன்.

        இங்கேயும் ஒரு பெரியவர் கலைஞர் இருக்கிறார் தேர்தல் கமிசன்நடவடிக்கைகளை, மக்களுக்கு எதிராக கமிசன் நடக்கிறது என்று முழங்கிஎமெர்ஜென்சி” என்று பெரிய வார்த்தைகளை எல்லாம் கூறி மக்களதுவணிகர்கள்) பார்வையை தேர்தல் கமிசனுக்கு எதிராக திருப்பிவிட்டுக்கொண்டு இருக்கிறார். தேர்தல் கமிசன் நடவடிக்கைகளுக்கேஇதைப்போல கூறினால் ஜன் லோக்பால் போன்றவை எல்லாம் (ஒருவேளை… ஒருவேளை தான்) வந்தால் ஐயோ அம்மா கொல்றாங்களே! என்றுகூறுவாரோ! “ (

                நேற்றுக்கூட கூட 5 கோடி ஒரே சமயத்தில் கைப்பற்றப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதற்கு என்ன கூறப்போகிறார்கள்? நேர்மையாக நடப்பவன் எவனாவது ஆம்னிபஸ் டாப்ல ஐந்து கோடியை கொண்டு செல்வானா! பிடிபட்டது ஐந்து கோடிபிடிபடாதது….. பாருங்க எவ்வளவு அநியாயம் நடக்கிறது என்று.

தற்போது ஊழல் குறித்த விழிப்புணர்வு மக்களிடையே ஓரளவு பரவி வருகிறது. இதற்காக ஏதாவது செய்யணும் என்று நினைக்கிறார்கள் அதை எப்படி சரியாகதுவங்குவது என்று தெரியாமல் விழிக்கிறார்கள் அல்லது யார் முன்னெடுப்பதுஎன்ற பிரச்சனையில் குழம்புகிறார்கள். இதோ! அன்னா ஹஸாரே ஆரம்பித்துவைத்து இருக்கிறார் இது வெற்றி பெறுமோ இல்லையோ அது வேறு விஷயம்இதை நாம் மற்றவர்களிடம் கூறுவதால் ஒன்றும் குறைந்துவிடப்போவதில்லையே. நம்மால் எதுவும் நடக்கவில்லை என்றாலும்யாராவது இதற்காக முயற்சிக்காமலா போய் விடப்போகிறார்கள்!

ஊடகங்கள் கிரிக்கெட்டிற்கு கொடுக்கும் முக்கியத்துவத்தில் இதற்கு பாதிகொடுத்தால் கூட புண்ணியமாகப்போகும்.

Today, as all says: International Women day. What is the purpose of celebrating a DAY like this? Does it have any impact on women folk? It is an unanswerable question. Woman according to poets for the sake of poetry: She gives Love, Happiness, Concern, Support and everything a man needs. But this is not true in reality. One thing is true that she gives everything, but she doesn't get what she gave. Instead she is been treated as a material where men could use her whenever he wants. Though it will not suit for all men folks, but yet it matters in the minors case.

Sexual harassment, female infanticide, child labor,

are the well known terms for women, women alone. An image of woman for a man now a days reminds him only  the appearance. It is more clearly defined in Tamil as புறம் .    

                                                      When will the persons who do these acts for the sake of pleasure would stop this? Again an unanswerable question.

Mere 10 years of punishment in jail, does it be a worthwhile judgment for this act? Who will come for a rescue in this case? Definitely no one will come. Are Women destined to lead a life like this? These kind of cases should have a public verdict. At least that would give a better judgment. God is there to punish all those culprits. This is the only                                                                   compromise we get finally. We always believe in the ONE who is not

visible to our eye, than the one who is with us. We adore the women who stands as personalities. But there are Women Personalities who where not known to the world. 

Child Labor, seem to be a very big term. but when it come to female it is merely a word. recently two female children who went as labor to Kerala, from Tamil Nadu, for domestic work came with sever injuries in their face and body. What was the step taken in this case? It was closed.

              Female infanticide, it seemed to be a problem where we got a solution(temporarily). Still we are supposed to get female child for the ditches of Hospitals. It is not the fault of men alone. Here Women too shares the plate.

HE CAN SHOW A CONCERN FOR WOMEN AS A HUMAN BEING.
